DAC Nodes ​

The DAC network is composed by three types of nodes. Supervisor, Validator and Light nodes.

Supervisor Nodes ​

Supervisor Nodes dispatch incoming transactions to achieve the network consensus and keep up to date the state of the network.

The tasks performed by a Supervisor Nodes are:

  • dispatching incoming transactions;
  • authorizing blocks, achieving consensus within DAC network.

To be recognised as a Supervisor Nodes, a Token Holder needs to:

  • own enough DAC Tokens (100.000 DACT);
  • join DAC network by installing a node.

Validator Nodes ​

At the moment Validator nodes perform the same function of Supervisor and actively participate to the consensus mechanism. The objective is to support the growth of the network in order to accommodate the improvements to the consensus mechanism.

To be recognised as a Validator node, a Token Holder needs to:

  • own enough DAC Tokens (1.000 DACT);
  • join DAC network by installing a node.

Light Nodes ​

Light Nodes are nodes of the network that does not perform mining operations. As DAC blockchain is open and public, anyone can run a Light Node and contribute to the expansion of the network, increasing data decentralization and distribution.
